She completed her residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She gained further training through a fellowship in otology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). She also belongs to the Allegheny County Medical Society.
